In the courtyard of the homestead, you will find 3 Magnolia trees, they were planted in the 1840s and are heritage listed and reportedly are the oldest living European trees in Victoria. One of the three is a smaller younger example than the 2 original trees. The third original tree was reportedly diseased dying over 20 years ago and a small explanation was taken from the original tree and planted when the original tree eventually died
