Learning With Legends
We are proud advocates for education and with our resident champions, we offer life-long learning opportunities to students from primary school through to veterinary science undergraduates. We take a knowledge-based approach to the aftercare of racehorses. Our Learning with Legends program provides a broad portfolio of opportunities including:
We work with schools to ensure we incorporate some of the students’ curriculum requirements into the visits, making the excursions beneficial for all involved.
Students with an interest in equine care are invited to complete a full week of work experience for their Year 10 Studies or one day per week for a term for their animal or  equine studies placement.
Students studying veterinary science, veterinary nursing, equine studies as well as agricultural and animal science are welcome to complete their required industry placement at Living Legends. There is a cottage on site, which provides accommodation for interstate and overseas students and workers. International exchange placements maybe an option for the future.
