Woodlands Historic Park is a popular spot for Birding, Birdwatching, and Twitching. The open areas that were previously used for grazing, combined with the River Red Gum woodlands, original grasslands and numerous creeks and dams make for excellent bird habitat. The walking tracks through the park make it easy to access the perfect places for spotting.

There are approximately 100 species of native birds in Woodlands Park. We also have free booklets with colour pictures of the native birds printed by Hume City Council and free of charge in the homestead.
