What We Love

Twilight Payment also known as ‘Twiggy’ arrived as a small, quiet horse with a huge demand for carrots. It did not take him long to come out of his shell and he enjoys the attention from his carers and all of his visitors. He is often the first horse to the fence when he spots a tour group walking down the hill. Twiggy is full of energy and where ever he goes is never done slowly! He also enjoys being the boss of the paddock and demands attention from everyone around. He is definitely a horse who knows exactly who he is- a Melbourne Cup winning Legend! Twiggy is one of our Irish bred horses and holds a good record in Ireland as well as winning the 2020 Melbourne Cup by leading the whole way! Twiggy is one of our residents who would definitely benefit from a life after racing under saddle as he is a horse who likes to have a job to keep his mind busy! It will be very interesting to see where his new career leads.
