Selino was a talented stayer, trained by Chris Waller, he made his mark in Australia with a memorable victory in the Group 1 Sydney Cup over 3200m in 2021, one of the country’s premier staying races.
Later in his career, Selino returned to the winner’s circle in the Brisbane Cup in 2023, again over 3200m, showcasing his strength and stamina as a genuine two-mile stayer.
Selino also had the opportunity to compete in Australia’s most famous race, finishing 8th in the 2021 Melbourne Cup. After a successful racing career, Selino now enjoys his well-earned retirement at Living Legends.
