Living Legends & COVID-19

Important: Temporary changes due to COVID-19 restrictions

These are tough times for everyone and that includes us here at Living Legends, but we want to assure you that all of our horses are safe and in good hands.

As a mainly outdoor venue we are currently open, with reduced services as follows:

  • We’ll be serving takeaway coffee, tea, Devonshire tea and homestead baked goods from the Black Caviar Cafe
  • Woodlands Park and gardens remain open for walkers and bike riders
  • Woodlands Homestead is now closed until further notice
  • Guided tours with our staff have been cancelled until further notice
  • We are unable to take event bookings or airport transfers at present

Safety is our top priority and we have:

  • increased the frequency of cleaning and sanitisation of our kitchen, cafe and other work areas as well as all public areas
  • implemented strict health and hygiene processes to guide all staff and volunteers during this unprecedented time
  • advised all staff and volunteers not to attend Living Legends if they are unwell, even with very mild symptoms, and we would kindly ask the same of our visitors
  • cancelled all large public and private events at Living Legends for the foreseeable future

We are actively following the official advice from the Australian Government Department of Health as well as the Victorian Department of Health and Human Services. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and will update our supporters as required.

As a charitable organisation, such a loss of revenue will be a challenge for us. If you are in a position to do so, we would welcome a tax deductible donation.

Thank you for your support.
