Enjoy a stroll through the magnificent rose gardens, located in the heart of Bulla. The rose gardens display a spectacular variety of stunning roses. The garden is best in spring, and the formal Open Day is the Saturday after Melbourne Cup Day.
Sunbury Riding Centre offers trail rides, private and group lessons, pony rides and picnic rides, and are open 7 days a week.
The historic 50 room Rupertswood Mansion is the former home of Sir William Clarke and the Birthplace of the Ashes. The original décor featuring stained glass windows, marbling of the walls, and extensive gold leaf throughout the ground floor of the Mansion has been faithfully restored. Today, the Mansion features exclusive accommodation and hosts a variety of private and corporate functions. Guided tours are also available for groups and clubs.
The Meadows Races are on every Saturday night, and many Feature Events take place throughout the year. The Meadows also offers a unique conference and meeting venue.
Sunbury Bowls Club features an a la carte restaurant, regular live shows, a 200 seat function room, Club Keno Lounge, three quality greens, and more.
The Goonawarra Golf Club, located in Sunbury, provides a unique test of golf. The course has magnificent fairways, large greens and some of the most scenic holes found anywhere in Melbourne. The Golf Club also features a function room which can seat 110 people.
