Living Legends, situated at the magnificent Woodlands Historic Park just outside of Melbourne, Victoria, is bringing champion racehorses back to the people. Legends such as Fields of Omagh, Might and Power, Silent Witness, Better Loosen Up, Brew, Rogan Josh, Doriemus, Sky Heights, and Paris Lane are among our champion retirees. An historic homestead, beautiful gardens and picturesque walking, and biking & horse riding trails with abundant wildlife combine to make Woodlands the ideal family destination. Pack a picnic basket, plan a day trip: it’s a place where people of all ages can relax and enjoy our legends in beautiful parklands.

The Woodlands Historic Park, one of the most historic horse heritage properties in the southern hemisphere, is over 700 hectares in total with over 400 hectares of natural bushland. The Homestead is surrounded by magnificent gardens with the magnolias being the oldest recorded garden plants in Victoria. You will see mobs of kangaroos and other native animals as you walk, jog or ride a bike or horse along the park tracks. Stop and enjoy a picnic amongst the magnificent River Red Gums or the native plant garden located at the horse paddocks.
