UPDATES ON THE LEGENDS
Northerly Steps Out at Living Legends
It is with great pride that Living Legends announces the arrival of Northerly at Living Legends.
Northerly stepped out at for a canter on the StrathAyr Turf at Moonee Valley on Tuesday 31st August under
champion jockey Damien Oliver, at the media announcement for this years’ Inductees into Australian Horseracing Hall of Fame. At right, you
can see a picture of Greg Childs, Northerly with Damien Oliver, Shari Brown and Patrick Payne at this event.
Living Legends is grateful to managing owner Neville Duncan and trainer Fred Kersley for making this visit possible. Depending on availability of planes,
Northerly will likely fly back to Western Australia in early December this year. Northerly will be at Living Legends daily for the next two weeks and
then on weekends until the Caulfield Cup, where he will step out for a canter down the straight prior to the Caulfield Cup under retired champion jockey
Greg Childs. After the Caulfield Cup, Northerly will be based at Living Legends until he returns home to the Duncan’s property in Western Australia.

on secondment as Woodside Park, acting as an uncle or paddock minder for yearlings at the property. Bomber is at his

Rogan Josh visits Port Melbourne Beach
In the lead up to the 10th Anniversary of his Melbourne Cup
victory Rogan Josh visited Port Melbourne Beach where he rubbed shoulders
with Spring Carnival first timer, City Homicide's Nadia Townsend. The pair
featured in a photo shoot for the Sunday Herald Sun with Nadia wearing Wendy
Green's (owner of Rogan Josh)'famous racing colours green and cream. It was
a revisit to the beach for Rogan Josh where he did some of his preparation
for the 1999 Melbourne Cup. Josh enjoyed a stroll in the water and a good
roll in the sand after the celebrity photoshoot. CLICK HERE
