Living Legends Heritage Cocktail Experience September 19
Living Legends
invites you to a “Heritage Cocktail Experience” hosted with Victoria Racing
Club's consultant historian, Andrew Lemon, at Woodlands Homestead on the
evening of 19 September 2008.
Indulge all your senses re-living a lavish evening of glamour and glitz in
this beautiful historic homestead that once was a social hub of Melbourne in
the early Victorian era where it played host to guests including Burke and
Wills.
Enjoy a glass of sparkling wine (Hanging Rock Winery) and canapés on arrival,
followed by an insight into ‘Historic Woodlands and The History of Australian
Thoroughbred Racing’ with Andrew Lemon. A Cocktail Dinner Experience
(Distinctively Delicious) will follow in the atmospheric charm of the historic
Woodlands Homestead.
Places are limited. CLICK HERE

Update from the CEO
There have been many highlights and successes for
Living Legends over the first half of 2008. We have touched the
hearts and minds of visitors of all ages from across Australia and
around the world. The community benefits of Living Legends
continue to expand with formation of a new volunteer garden group,
the ongoing Work for the Dole program and expanded visits and
involvement with community groups and schools. Living Legends has
also been identified as a “landmark tourism destination” in the Hume
Region and as a gateway location for the Daylesford and Macedon
Ranges area.
