Weddings & Social Functions

Living Legends is an idyllic venue for your perfect wedding setting. Located in the remarkable Woodlands Historic Park, the Living Legends guarantees your wedding day will be 'an affair to remember’.

With views to the city and Mt Macedon, the Woodlands Historic Homestead offers an amazing atmosphere. The Homestead oozes old world charm, rustic character and the gardens are picturesque amongst old outbuildings and box hedges. The extensive property is rich with kangaroos and a natural Australian landscape.

There are several sections of the Homestead and extensive gardens to suit for a wedding ceremony and reception, including our Heritage Wedding Garden, located on the west side of the Homestead. This lovely lawn garden offers a backdrop of beautiful roses, bulbs and colourful foliage nestled between the homestead and an old Morton Bay Fig tree.

Receptions can be catered for either inside the Homestead, or by erecting a marquee in one of the gardens or on the old tennis court with views to our retired Champions and Mt Macedon. You may decide to hold an evening reception with views to the Melbourne city lights.

Wedding photographs are an important aspect of your day. Living Legends and Woodlands Historic Homestead provide the ultimate scenery for those permanent reminders of your special day.


Meetings & Corporate Events

Living Legends is the ideal venue for special events such as corporate promotions and product launches, company award presentations, client or distributor events, company meetings and company training sessions. Personal and team development programs thrive in this environment.


We are located within 5 minutes of the Melbourne Tullamarine Airport and thus are the perfect location for those business meetings with interstate or international attendees. Meetings can be complemented with a tour of the historic Woodlands Homestead, the Champion Horses and a morning or afternoon tea. On-site catering with a range of suppliers and costs is readily available.

The beautiful landscape of grounds and/or the historic buildings are ideal for photo-shoots and filming for advertising. There are also several possible sites in the historic gardens to erect marquees for PR events, roadshows and exhibitions.
