Upcoming Events at Living Legends
Living Legends 2nd Birthday Celebration
Living Legends will celebrate its second birthday with a Spring Carnival experience on Sunday November 2nd from 10:00am to 3:00pm. Visitors will not only be able to pat the racehorse champions but will also have the opportunity to feature in special Melbourne Cup photo opportunities.
Highlights of the day will include:

Living Legends encourages you to consider bringing a picnic basket for a full day of enjoyment in our beautiful gardens, joining in on activities with the legends, watching the nearby planes and local mob of kangaroos in a traditional Australian setting. We have plenty to celebrate with both our 2nd birthday and our new principle partner, Eliza Park.

2008 Legendary Garden Picnic Days
Living Legends would like to invite you to our 2008 Garden & Heritage picnic days.
These special picnic days will include heritage tours of the horses and homestead, fun activities for children, and special prize giveaways. They will take place on the third Wednesday of each month, except during winter. The remaining dates for 2008 are:

Eliza Park/Living Legends Gala Dinner

To celebrate the new alliance between Living Legends and Victoria's premier thoroughbred stud Eliza Park, a Gala Dinner
was held at Championsthe Australian Racing Museum on Thursday 25 September.
A wonderful night was enjoyed by all and generous funds
raised from the gala have been donated to Living Legends by

Australia Day Picnic Day

Living Legends hosted a special family picnic day for the Australia Day public holiday. The day included photoshoots with the horses, children's activities and a gourmet barbeque. Check back soon for pictures from the day!

Living Legends Re-Opening
December 16, 2007
After closure due to Equine Influenza precautions, Living Legends re-opened to the public. On the day, there were special festivities including giveaways, special prize draws, guided tours of the horses, history tours of the homestead and gardens and fundraising photo opportunities with the Melbourne Cup and Cox Plate. Emirates Melbourne Cup Parade

Living Legends Official Opening

Living Legends was officially opened to the public by the Hon John Thwaites MP. Celebrations for the day included speeches, musical performances, and a parade of the retiring horses.
